It is an annual plant species from the hemp family, native to India and cultivated in warm countries and in our country.
Its trunk is upright. It is hollow. Its surface is rough. Its leaves have 5-11 parts. Its fruit is 3-5 millimeters long.
There is a fleshy dwarf inside its grains. There is resin and volatile oil at the ends of the branches. Its fruits are rich in oil. The oil extracted from its seeds is used in the soap industry.
A fiber called hemp or hemp is obtained from the bark of its trunk. Rope, rope and coarse weavings are made from these. Boiling the leaves in water relieves chronic rheumatism pain.
