Painful menstrual period

This condition, called dysmenorrhoea/dysmenorrhea in medical terms, is especially seen on the first day of menstrual bleeding. In some people, the pain occurs a few days before menstrual bleeding begins and stops when bleeding begins. In some, it is felt before bleeding begins, on the days when bleeding occurs, and in the following few days. This type of pain is mostly seen in women between the ages of 18-24. The pain begins as spasms under the navel or in the upper legs. Vomiting may occur. The face turns yellow and sweating increases.

Rosemary, lemon balm, hawthorn flower, black cohosh, mistletoe, balm, lavender, persimmon, marjoram, shepherd's purse, bay leaf and eucalyptus leaf, all boiled and drunk as tea.
