It is a plant with fleshy leaves and one or many flowers. Its flowers are white-yellow-pink and are spherical or clustered. There are 600 species, most of which are found in the northern hemisphere. There are 35 species in Turkey. They are annual or perennial plants. Their leaves form rosettes at the base. It is used to relieve hemorrhoids and to treat calluses.
