Cucumbers

They are the fruits of a tree called "Leguminoseae" from the legumes. They grow in the East Indies, Antilles and Brazil. Their fruit is cylindrical and black. It contains sugar, pectin, gum, tannin and essence. It prevents constipation. In excess, it is laxative.
