Rhubarb Tile is from the Buckwheat family. Rhubarb is a very strong perennial plant that is 1-2 meters tall and does not bloom for the first 3-4 years and gives all its strength to the roots. Its leaves are quite large and can reach 1 meter in length. It has a long stem, yellowish green color. Its upper leaves are quite small and its stem is also quite short. Its flowers are arranged together at the top of the stem and consist of numerous flowers, sometimes yellowish green, sometimes brownish green and sometimes reddish in color. Its roots are the size of the main root head and consist of side roots and tubers spreading around it. Rhubarb, whose homeland is the Far East, grows only in the Eastern Anatolia Region of our country, in the form of Işkın or Işgın (R. ribes). The plant contains tannin and fragrant essences.

Use in folk medicine

It stimulates appetite.

It stops diarrhea.

It strengthens the body.

It removes stomach and intestinal gases.

If used in large quantities, it causes diarrhea.

The best one is the one without worms, it opens liver blockages and is useful against chronic malaria and cirrhosis.

Warning: Rhubarb root can color urine yellow or red. It is harmful to those with hemorrhoids and pregnant women.
