General Information
ROSACE (ROSE DISEASE)
Chronic rosacea, which is a symptom of inflammation in the body, can be soothed by foods such as fish, cucumber and licorice. Foods containing circumin, the spice saffron that gives color to foods, have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
Foods to avoid:
American dermatologist Neil Sadick says that hot and spicy foods, alcohol and caffeine dilate blood vessels and make the skin appear redder. Miami dermatologist Fredric Brandt says that peanuts, which are rich in niacin, will also increase redness.
