Sticky Herb, stems are used. Stems are collected before flowering or in flower in April-June. They are dried immediately in the shade or in ovens heated to 35 degrees. The dry plant is dark green, has a gummy odor and a slightly bitter taste. The humidity ratio is % 12. It is packaged in paper bags and stored in the shade or in airy buildings.

Chemical Composition: The plant contains coumarine glycoside (some of the coumarine is separated during drying), asperuloside glycoside, tannins, bitter substances, essential oil, resin, etc.

In Which Diseases Is It Used: It has a softening (cough) diuretic, sudorific, pain relieving effect.

In folk medicine, it is used against diseases such as cough, shortness of breath, sand in the bile and kidneys, jaundice, spleen diseases, hysteria, headache, heart palpitations, insomnia, stomach aches, istiska etc.

It is used externally as a compress against boils, wounds that are difficult to heal, and skin acne.
