Mandrake

 (Alraunwurzel, Mandragore, Mandrake):

(Mandragora officinarum)
It is a perennial herbaceous plant with rosette leaves and taproot that blooms bluish purple flowers. It is named because its roots resemble humans. Places where it grows in Turkey: Western and Southern Anatolia.

Places of use:
Its roots carry % 0.3 ratio of Hyoscyamine and Scopolamine alkaloids. Therefore, it is a poisonous plant. It has analgesic, sedative, sexual power enhancing effects. It is still used in the composition of various preparations in treatment. 

It is harmful if used randomly.
