IN WHICH DISEASES IS IT USED: It has very good disinfection and diuretic properties.

Bearberry is used in folk medicine for inflammation of the bladder and kidneys, sand and stones in the kidneys, bloody urination, urinary incontinence, water retention, diabetes, white discharge, kidney tuberculosis, involuntary semen discharge (ihtilat), etc.

USAGE: Boil 1 tablespoon of crushed leaves in 0.5 liters of water for 10 minutes, strain and take a tea glass 4 times a day before meals.

Disinfection and diuretic effect on the system in the leaves is due to the separation of arbutin into hydricinone and methylhydrocinone. These are strong antiseptics in alkaline urine. For this reason, a small amount of bread soda (bicarbonate) should be mixed when taking bearberry leaves.
