Where it is found: It is found on the branches of fruit and broad-leaved trees.
Structure: The plant, which is small and evergreen with a spherical coronet, grows semi-parasitically on the branches of fruit and other trees thanks to its root-like structure. The stem is up to 50 cm high, branches in the shape of a pitchfork, and branches on the branches. The leaves are pale green, leathery, oppositely inverted egg-shaped, between broad spear-shaped and narrow spear-shaped. The upper leaves are attached to the stem. The plant is dioecious. The flower is unisexual and (5-6) of them are together, but they are found at the base of the branches. The fruit resembles a false strawberry with a round, juicy seed, 8-10 mm. The diameter is the size of a pea. The fruits are green at first, white or transparent when ripe. It blooms in March-April.

Kağıt veya kenevir torbalarda yada balya halinde paketlenir. Gölgede, kuru ve havadar binalarda muhafaza edilir.
Chemical Composition: The terminal parts contain % 30 (a-pinene, lemon, borneol, bornylacetate, cadinene, silvestrene, dipentetrene, compound esters and free alcohols) essential oil; resins, mineral salts, vitamins B, C, K, provitamin A, tannins, bitter substances, pinicrin, pinicrin etc.
In Which Diseases Is It Used: It reduces blood pressure (tension) to a noticeable degree. It has a blood-thinning effect. It is used as an auxiliary medicine in nervous system diseases (usually in some forms of epilepsy). In addition to the diseases mentioned above, the extract collected from the birch tree has a therapeutic effect in children's episodic conditions, headaches, neuralgia, uterine bleeding, continuous and painful menstrual bleeding and nose bleeding.
In folk medicine, it is used for involuntary tremors, diseases of the spleen, insufficient milk in nursing mothers, etc. The fruits are applied to dizziness, whooping cough, swellings and tumors.
Usage: Boil finely chopped cecam leaves and one tablespoon in 0.5 lt. water for 10 minutes. After straining, take 1 coffee cup 3 times a day before meals. Take 1-2 pieces of fruit with a little water after meals. It should not be taken continuously because it is poisonous.
